A note from Founder and CEO, Kristin Markey
When I started Nest over 5 years ago, my goal was to provide companies with customized, high-touch wellness programs for their employees — ones that inspired participation, garnered genuine interest and ultimately made a lasting positive impact on the lives of everyone in the workplace. Up until March 13, 2020, Nest was doing exactly this! When COVID-19 hit, it's as if the world pressed the pause button. All Nest programs were put on hold, and after nearly 6 weeks, I was unsure Nest would survive.
Two years ago, I thought it would be extremely difficult to reach remote employees; and now, we have employees from all around the world tuning into our virtual classes and seminars. While I love getting to know my clients face to face, right now the ability to stay connected and continue to share Nest's message of healthy living digitally is such a gift; and it reminds me of a quote from my team that rings true time and time again:
“Change can be perceived as a threat or an opportunity. The choice in perspective is always yours.”
While I never thought we would be approaching two years of the pandemic, Nest has stayed agile – continuously adjusting and embracing new virtual wellness opportunities without hesitation. The business has continued to grow, evolve and expand in ways I could have never imagined. Today, we're helping employees across the entire world manage stress and anxiety, reach their physical fitness goals, develop healthier habits, and find stride in their wellness journeys. Regardless of what 2022 and beyond looks like, I know we'll brave it with confidence and creativity!
If you don’t have a wellness program with your employer and love what we’re doing here at Nest, please let me know how I can help. I would be honored to work with your company to develop something incredibly unique and special.
Health and happiness,
