Why have an ordinary company picnic when you can have an American Ninja Warrior Party?

Nest Health Connections put together a family fun day for Watkins –based Orica, and did just that, with the help of resident Colorado Ninja warriors Brian Arnold and Jake Murray.

Orica employees and their families formed teams of five and enjoyed a beautiful Colorado day conquering a Ninja obstacle course, riding giant tricycles, sack racing, running with weights, longest plank hold and negotiating a soccer slalom, as Orica officially launched its “Blast into Wellness” health initiative.

Teams were competing for some great prizes, including Apple watches, Fitbits and gift cards for sporting goods retailers.

The event was catered by Mad Greens with an array of delicious salads and wraps, while the Ba-Nom-a-Nom Treat Truck served up dessert in the form of soft serve frozen fruit ice cream.

The Orica team and their families were thrilled by the event: “This is the best corporate event I have ever been to”, “My husband has worked here for 20 years and we have never had as much fun at a company outing”.

Needless to say we are already planning 2018’s 2nd Annual Event!
