Kristin's Favorite Green Smoothies

 I would say these are transitional green smoothies if you have only done all fruit smoothies for your family these are great tasting (you cannot taste the spinach) and easy to get your family hooked.  A Vitamix is really necessary for the best tasting smoothie at home.  I have tried less expensive blenders but they just don't do the job like a Vitamix.

I have a couple of smoothie tips:  1) freeze lots of bananas - peel and put in a plastic container or baggie, will keep for months.  2) Use any liquid that you like, I use Almond Milk mostly, but if you prefer regular (or any other type of) milk, coconut water, really anything is fine.  Just make sure to  put the liquid in the blender first.

1 cup Almond Milk (more if needed)

2 cups spinach

1 frozen banana

1 pear

1 green apple

1 orange

1/4 cup frozen pineapple

1 cup almond milk

2 cups spinach

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen mangos

1/2 cup frozen pineapple
