Banana, Fig & Butternut Squash Smoothie
INGREDIENTS:
1 frozen banana
2 figs (can use fresh or dried)
1/4 cup frozen or fresh butternut squash (you can find this in the organic frozen section)
1 tsp coconut flakes
1 cup coconut milk
1 tsp cinnamon
protein powder – non-flavored (chia, hempseed, flaxseed, etc)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
If making this into a smoothie bowl - top with sliced bananas, coconut flakes and cacao nibs. Delicious!
